Beef and Pork
All our beef and pork are raised without the use of antibiotics or added growth hormones. Our beef is available all though the year. Calves are born and raised on grass at our farm. Only the last couple months are they fed some grain to increase the marbling of the meat. The beef is dry aged for 10 to 14 days to enhance flavor and tenderness. Our pork is also raised on pasture and fed extra garden vegetables, milk and whey.
Our chicken will be available at the end of June 2013. They are raised on pasture and have a diet of grasses, raw milk, local grains and lots of sunshine. They are not vaccinated and are not fed any antibiotics. We will have a limited supply so you may pre-order and reserve your chicken for the end of June. We may raise another batch for the fall so check back with us at the end of summer for availability.
Herd Shares Available
You can enjoy the fresh raw milk from your portion of the herd. We have Jersey and Jersey cross cows that produce sweet, creamy and smooth milk. They graze continuously on pasture with clovers, alfalfa and other grasses and only get a small amount of grain while milking. For a one time fee of $30.00/ herd share and a monthly boarding fee of $28.00 you can enjoy the healthy benefits of one gallon of raw milk per week. We now have cream available for our herdshare owners.
